I have used homegrown mango pulp that worked.

The ingredients needed to make Mango Sandesh / Mango peda:
- Prepare 1 litre milk (here I have used double toned milk)
- Prepare 5-6 tbsp lemon juice
- Prepare 1 medium sized ripe mango pulp/puree
- Make ready 6 tbsp sugar (can be changed according to sweetness of mango)
- Prepare 2 tbsp milk powder
- Prepare as required Some dry fruits like cashew or almon for garnishing

Steps to make Mango Sandesh / Mango peda:
- At first pour the milk into a pan in medium heat and bring it to boil.
- Then add the lemon juice gradually and stir the milk continiously. Then switch off the flame. After sometime it will curdle and chenna will form from it.
- Strain the water from the chenna and keep it under a heavyweight thing for 10 minutes to drain the excess water.
- Then take all the ingredients except dry fruits in a mixer grinder and blend for 1 minute to make a smooth paste.
- Pour the mixture into a pan and stir it continiously untill it becomes thick or a dough like consistency.
- Cool it for 10 minutes and put some oil in your palm to make round shaped mango peda or mango shaped mango sandesh.
- You can put the sweets in freeze for 30 minutes kust to set it. Enjoy it with your family..
Boil milk in a heavy-bottom pan. When it starts to boil, simmer the heat and add lemon juice. Add mango puree and powdered milk. Cook on medium heat till the mixture is thickened to a dough-like consistency and has left the sides of the pan. The popular Bengali sweet with mango flavour.
